Interesting new feature showed up in the latest Evernote update. We’ll call it seamless note switching. CMD + J keyboard shortcut helps you search quickly through your notes, and it replaces the previous “Notebook jumping” (that I’ve used frequently).

I can see how I would be utilizing this feature more so than jumping through a bunch of notebooks. In practice this feature will remind you of Spotlight, and it greatly improves accessibility of your notes. This feature definitively seems like a game changer, and I believe it will leave a dramatic impact on the way I work. For the full list of changes of the April 6th, check the screenshot bellow.

Small improvements have also been introduced to audio recorder, tag management and one of my future favorite new features is “zoom in” and “zoom out”. All in all, Evernote is trying hard to smoothen around the edges and provide a premium quality and user experience. Greatly appreciated.
