Finding products with high profitability potential is still the main reason many successful Amazon FBA sellers use Jungle Scout. But since its early days, Jungle Scout has evolved to become an all-in-one platform for both new and established Amazon sellers and eCommerce brands.

So, what is Jungle Scout in 2023?

In its essence, Jungle Scout is a SaaS designed to streamline the selling process on Amazon. By paying a monthly subscription, you get access to various features that can simplify your path to discovering the best products to sell, conducting keyword research, doing competitor research, managing your inventory, tracking sales, and more.

Yes, it’s possible to do all this manually without Jungle Scout. But it would take you much more time and even money. For example, to do proper keyword research, you’d have to pay for a reliable tool like Semrush. And you’d also need separate tools for managing your inventory, tracking sales, automating review requests, and so on… While getting dedicated tools for each of these needs is advisable for large companies, such an approach can be expensive.

When you subscribe to Jungle Scout, you get access to a wide range of tools Amazon sellers need, all within one platform. I found the user interface intuitive, so I believe you won’t have trouble navigating it, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced user. 

Before diving deeper into this Jungle Scout review, you should know that you can use this tool as a Chrome extension or web app. While the Jungle Scout Chrome extension gives you quicker access to core features, I recommend using the web app if you want a full experience. Don’t worry, I’ll explain all of this later.

Is Jungle Scout Accurate?

In my research, I aimed to put Jungle Scout’s claims to the test. Comparing my actual sales data against Jungle Scout’s sales estimate feature, I’ve calculated that Jungle Scout is about 86% accurate. 

While it’s not flawless, Jungle Scout can be a trustworthy compass for both new Amazon sellers and established eCommerce brands. I haven’t noticed significant problems related to Jungle Scout’s data accuracy.

It takes a lot of time to find and verify reliable suppliers. However, all suppliers you’ll find within Jungle Scout’s database are verified, so you won’t have to worry on that side.

What I also love about the supplier database is that it allows you to find niche suppliers willing to handle smaller order quantities or with expertise in specialized products.
