Rushing thoughts commute
As I was driving to work this morning, I had a big buzz in my head. Things revolving around future, distant and short one, thoughts about the directions in which I was leading my life. And as a 26 years old man (soon to be 27), I can only say that I am satisfied with the route I took so far. I am not happy because things happened, but because I’ve made them happen.
Feel success inwardly
It’s not what other people say, it’s about what you consider success. Before others see it, you will have to feel it yourself. The “private victory” concept I’ve encountered in “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, is rather powerful. It talks about the day, where you feel as if you accomplished the most out of it.
The day when you know you’ve got up, and gave your all. If you sequentially make your every day look this way, you are on the right path of succeeding. Whatever your version of success might be.
What is personal success?
There are numerous stories about your personal victories, where you’ve turned seemingly impossible situations into your own desired reality. There are numerous events in my life that made me realize how much personal power I have, and all of them have one thing in common:
Is public opinion of success really a success? Or is it something else?
Ultimately YOU are the only person determining what is your success, and wether you’ve did it or you’ve failed miserably. If you make a commitment that you will be an Architect of your fate, than forging your own path is the way to determine how successful you are.
You will just know if you’re doing the right thing, in case you are witnessing your life unfolds the way you’ve envisioned it. Not all the time will it be in the way you’ve imagined, but with some bumps in the road, it happens, if you stay true to your purpose.
What success means to you? Do you feel the pressure of society on what success is, or you have your own version of “making it happen” for yourself? Look forward seeing your thoughts.
